Demister pads reduce liquid carryover and protect downstream equipment by efficiently capturing entrained droplets from gas streams. By lowering outlet droplet loading, they improve separation performance, reduce solvent loss in distillation and minimize fouling of heat exchangers and compressors. The low pressure-drop design helps maintain energy efficiency of gas handling systems and supports stable process control at varying flow rates.
Design, Materials and Performance Range:
Our demister pads are produced by multi-layer knitted and interwoven wire or polymer filament assemblies. Stainless steel (SS304/SS316L) is recommended for high temperature and abrasive services; PP and PTFE versions are available for corrosive or acid environments. Mesh density and wire diameter are selected to match mist droplet size and gas velocity, offering a balance between capture efficiency and pressure drop.

Selecting the correct demister pad involves evaluating gas velocity, temperature, mist loading and allowable pressure drop. For retrofit projects we provide on-site sampling guidance and perform mist loading estimates. For new designs we deliver CAD layout, support ring selections and provide recommended pad stack heights for staged separation. Maintenance, Packaging & Delivery:
Pads are removable for offsite washing or onsite ultrasonic/chemical cleaning depending on material. We pack units in protective film and carton or wooden crate for export; small polymer pads are sealed in clean bags. Lead time typical: 7–20 days depending on material and custom sizing.
