Demister Pad Description
Wire mesh demister comprises of wire mesh,wire mesh block of wire mesh grill and support device fixing mesh bliock.
Demister,generally set on top separation column,used for separating the gas entrained droplets in the column to ensure mass transfer efficiency,
reduce the loss of valuable materials and improve the operation of the compressor after the separation.It can effectively remove droplet beteen 3—5μm.
usage:Petroleum, chemical, light industry, medicine, metallurgy, aerospace, ship, environmental protection engineering distillation, evaporation, absorption and other processes in the gas-liquid separation, gas separation, mechanical equipment, oil and gas separation.

Demister Pad Application

1. Gas Scrubbing & Absorption
In wet scrubbers, liquid is sprayed to neutralize contaminants. The demister sits at the top of the tower to catch the "carry-over" spray, ensuring the exiting gas is dry and the scrubbing liquid is recycled.

It prevents corrosive liquid droplets from reaching downstream equipment such as blowers, compressors, and turbines, significantly reducing maintenance costs and mechanical wear.
