Demister Pad Description
Wire mesh demister pad: (also known as wire mesh defogger, bubble trap) is a highly efficient gas-liquid separation device widely used in chemical, petroleum, sulfuric acid, pharmaceutical, light industry, metallurgy, machinery, construction, aviation. In the industries such as maritime transport and environmental protection, in the production equipments such as ethylene, synthetic ammonia and chemical fiber imported from abroad, the use of wire mesh defoaming as a gas-liquid separation device is also used. It is mainly used to separate droplets having a diameter of more than 3 μm to 5 μm.

Demister Pad Application
In a gas scrubber system, the demister is the final stage of treatment. Its primary roles include:
1. Gas Scrubbing & Absorption
In wet scrubbers, liquid is sprayed to neutralize contaminants. The demister sits at the top of the tower to catch the "carry-over" spray, ensuring the exiting gas is dry and the scrubbing liquid is recycled.
2. Equipment Protection
It prevents corrosive liquid droplets from reaching downstream equipment such as blowers, compressors, and turbines, significantly reducing maintenance costs and mechanical wear.
3. Environmental Compliance
